huh, weird, he'll play on one of the 5 may festivals in Holland.... Those are always free festivals, it seems a bit odd that such a big artist appears on the festival...

hmm, now if Ed will stay for a month in Holland, maybe he can play Pinkpop as well! Now that would be cool.

Backstage at pinkpop:

The gracious few share a beer and a joke after an exhausting set. Ed lingers shyly in the background like a kid at a new school, observing and calculating the right moment to join in.

Kevin martin is delivering a monologue concerning the awesomeness of their first gig, when, mid-sentence, ed bursts into a nervous laugh as if reacting to a joke. All heads turn to eds direction. No one is laughing. Kevin continues his story. Ed glances left....then right.
