Not only Ed is the only on the cover but he is the only performing in the videos of the DVD side. WHY? Ok, he wrote the songs, but they still are a band and not Ed playing with some unknown musicians. And what about comments like "I'm just the drummer" or "I'm the guitar player", was it edited like that on purpose? or is it ironic?
I'm not saying that the videos and the interviews are bad but I'm a little disappointed.

For those who have the DualDisc, what is your opinion?

the tracks were performed acoustic, okee, so the lead singer is important in that
But I agree with you it's a shame they weren't performed with the rest of the band.

I mean, remember the acoustic tracks of the 2nd TDTH cd!!!
the other band members played a great role in those songs! Why not by SFBM ? angry.gif

Ed is the one mostly involved with the band right now. Most of them are at a point where they have other side projects, families, etc. Taylor easily spends the least amount of time, as he has like 30 other things going on. From teaching yoga, to playing in LIVE, to pitching a TV show and even opening his own recording studio. It's just challenging at this point, and Ed is the one mainly focused on LIVE right now.

Give it a few years, perhaps after a mid-life crisis, they'll be angsty again. lol.

Family, yes. His own recording studio, where he produces other bands, no.

You may be right but they still are a band. When they bring out a new disc, and a dualdisc with videos, they could at least take some time to do some stuff togehter...even if they are busy. I mean a new album isn't just some formality. (That's what I think, perhaps it is to them.)

At least you have the CD/DVD! We will probably never see the DVD in the states and the CD keeps getting pushed back so who knows when we will get that in our greedy little hands!!

True, but the DVD is an extra, "less important" than the album itself. If you have so many things to do beside playing in a band, i don't think you are willing to, after spending so much time on an album, "waste" some more time on some extra's... nervous.gif
