This is a truly excellent recording from (probably) my favourite Live era.
I don't think this has been circulated before. Hope you enjoy it.

FANTASTIC show. This was made before Ed started sounding like a douche. Maybe the best version of Ghost ever. Heropsychodreamer lets the instruments wander where they never could in later songs.

Thanks for this one! Great concert but I have been having problems with Ghost. Have downloaded it 4 times and I get an error message when decoding it to AIFF, the file seems to be incomplete: Live (1997-04-07) - 02 Ghost.flac: ERROR while decoding data
state = FLAC__STREAM_DECODER_READ_FRAME

Is anyone else getting this problem?

When I download it, it is exactly the same filesize as the original file down to the last byte, but it still fails the md5 verification.

I'm uploading it once more to see if that eliminates the problem.

EDIT: That seemed to do the trick

Fantastic recording, goes along with Melbourne 97 and the SS radio broadcast as the best SS era recordings I think.

God I loved Ed's voice in this era ... he has such better control when he's not reaching for those high notes .. his singing of the word "hero" if done these days in heropsychodreamer would most certainly crack or just be way too high, he just carries it in this low groove here, I love it!
