god damnit why does it annoy me so much when you capitalise random words in sentences. Why does ready need to be READY? I can't explain it.

i dont think the caps are what is causing pokey grief, whats really itchin his trigger finger is WHY you choose the words you do to capitalize. Whats the psychology behind it. you seem to randomly select insignificant portions of the sentence to emphasize, like a foreigner with broken english but your grammar is too good for that, and although it doesnt bother me it seems that pokey is having a hard time with it.

I can picture it now, like that scene out of misery, pokey tying you to a bed with a sledge hammer raised at your feet and right before he smashes your ankles in he utters in disgust "you dirty birdie!"

I've got to ask...

Why are you starting a fan page before the official one is even launched? I'm going to assume that the official page will have a forum, media section, news etc. so what's the use of having another site? Are you going to have your own forum as well? Will that mean that fans will be posting on multiple boards? What's going to differentiate your site from the official one?

Having fan run sites for Live is normal as Live's fan base could cope with multiple sites. Add the fact that SOY was restrictive in what we could discuss (ie. no bootlegs) so there was a need for other places to get breaking news and for fans to congregate.

I don't have a problem with having a fan-based TGF site, I just think it's a bit premature.

Somebody's got to find out whether The Gracious Few is going to have an open taping policy like Candlebox. If we could get the word out to tapers that TGF are 'taper-friendly' then we're going to have a steady supply of audio and video recordings to keep us interested...

God I hope they are ... bands that are taper friendly rock the world. A big reason why I love Ween, they have their own forum just for fan bootlegs and even go on and post on it themselves.

But you got a point Dan ... it's a bit premature without assessing what TGF will offer on their site and then checking if there is a need to do a site that offers something different.
