I keep getting asked about the plexi glass. This was to protect Ed's wittle ears. As evidenced by his "lounge act" from holland Ed has.....

Could that be a real post by Gracey or was his twitter account hacked?

I saw that on Twitter too.

I just lost every bit of interest I had in TGF.

Hopefully it is a hack.

I think you all expect too much of these guys and hang too much on what they say on Twitter/elsewhere. I agree that its unprofessional, but look who hasn't thrown out a drunk or angry tweet or two? Not saying its right but cut the man some slack. He's making fun of the song just like a lot of us are.

Assuming for a second that what was said was NOT from a hacker, does the plexi-glass comment make sense?

How does plexi-glass stiffle sound from a drum kit when the drum kit is mic'd and the members of the band (or at least Ed) is wearing a monitor ear piece? Could the drum level be adjusted for Ed's earpiece output. The acoustic sound level coming from the drums themselves is surely at a level significantly lower than the venue's sound system.

Yeah it does make sense. Plexi glass allows the mics themselves to control all the sound. If you went to a Live show pre-plexiglass and then one after you'd notice a significant difference in how the drums sound in the mix. The plexiglass basically makes them more controllable, and quieter on the stage for the other musicians.

When you are up there, you aren't hearing the venue speakers nearly as loudly as the crowd is, you get a lot more of the amps, drums, etc. The in ear monitors don't cover all that up.

Ed?

I am on the fence over what is more embarrassing. This, or the half naked photo, the constant LOL'ing, or the complete lack of acknowledgment that the band he was with for 15+ years called it quits (for now).

Personally I'd rather have the passion over the band breaking up that we've seen from CT, I've enjoyed that.

Makes sense. Glad someone responded so quickly. Had the potential "hacker" posted something that didn't make sense that could identify it as a hack. Since this makes sense and is plausible, I'm doubting it was a hacker.

Wow Gracey. Way to fuck it all up even more than it already has been!

It really sounds like the band hates each other.

Agree with you here Steve.

Honestly, the way this whole thing has unraveled, on the internet no less, makes me utterly sick.

The thing that makes me think it may be a hack is the "hahahahaha." That seems pretty childish. I am guessing hacker or drunk.

These guys make mistakes too ya know.

I never said it was a good move. I'm sure these guys do plenty of other things a lot of us wouldn't like.

I think we are all getting to know the guys for the first time through 140 character messages, and a lot of us don't necessarily like what we see.
