Sand Springs Country Club in Drums, Pa. is honored to be having Adam Kowalczyk play a solo acoustic show Friday night, July 31st, 2009. rockin.gif

"Fronting his own band, Adam and the Weight, his debut CD ‘Looking Up from the Ground’ (2003) was nominated for ‘Independent Pop Album of the Year’ by the LA Music Awards and received an Honorable Mention at the ‘The International Songwriting Competition 2004’ for the song “Never Good at Fighting.” In 2005, his follow-up solo independent release, “The Dream EP”, contains 12 compelling songs in which he reflects about his life and times in Los Angeles and his experiences on the road in an attempt to bring his audience a breath of fresh air from the current mainstream."

Join us for an intimate evening in our 3,200 square foot air conditioned tent. Just outside of the facility is a 1,500 square foot patio with fountain, pergola and granite top bar.

This show is really tempting, I would love to go but I was just over in New Jersey last week and the thought of driving across the state again so soon isn't that appealing to me. Any idea of how long Adam's set will be and if it's going to be a solo show or if he's bringing Nate and/or Gabe with him?

It's only a five hour drive from Erie... How many tickets have you sold so far? If I can talk someone into going with me I might try to go but as of right now I'm not sure if I can make it or not.
