Live supposedly rehearsed songs that they haven't played in quite some time yesterday. I can't wait to see what ends up in the setlist tonight!

I read that too. But I found it strange that Ed added that they hardly ever rehearse anymore... That's not really a good thing eh.gif

whatever, they sound live awesome anyway!

Pat and Chad told me the same thing last summer, very little rehearsal time and no sound checks. I find it a little disappointing. I know a lot of bands try out new material or just jam (which tends to lead to new material) during sounds checks and rehearsals. So without sound checks, rehearsals and since they guys don't live near each other it has to be hard for them to create new material as a band.

With that being said I am really excited to hear what "new old songs" they play this weekend.

As a musician I believe you should never be content with your musical ability. You should always push yourself with your instrument be it voice, guitar, drums, so on. Otherwise your art will suffer, your skill will dwindle and you will be stuck making redundant music. That's all evident in Ed, be it forgetting songs, or his overall sloppy guitar playing.

I dunno, maybe when they loosely rehearse and jam, we get things like Ed singing Eminem during I Alone. Maybe it's good they don't rehearse too much anymore.

Ed has sold 20 million albums more than you. I don't think you're qualified to give him advice as a musician.

Who cares. They played Hold Me Up and Gas Head. Sweet.
