With "Forever" in wide circulation here the only mystery left to the new upcoming album is "Purifier". Friendsoflive.com states that the song features a guest appearance by John Popper of Blues Traveler.

I loved Beautiful Invisible much more than Radiant Sea so I'm really interested in hearing this track. I was wondering if anyone has any information on it.

I'm hoping that Poppers' guest appearance includes some harmonica work. If it's anything like the guest appearance like Adam Duritz's appearance on "Flow" it could be a horrible song, but I have high hopes that maybe Live has pulled something off with a Blues Traveler vibe. I was wondering if anyone has information on it.

Yes!!! Omg, that sounds fantastic!! omg.gif

Forget Forever, give me more of this! It sounds like FUMBLE to me and I love that song. It sounds much heavier than anything recent.

We can be certain this next album is going to be better than SFBM... Hurrah! yay.gif

Agreed, this is a true money track. No sarcasm from me this time. Money. Better than anything they could have dreamed of post TDTH. I now actually have very high hopes for the upcoming album.

well Nick compared this song with God don't ever change.
But the first 15 seconds of the clip sound really like the Ed when he did the Helter Skelter cover with Chris Daughtry, somewhere earlier this year. I never would have thought that he would start singing like that again on a studio track, but I think this is promising.

technically its nothing too 'new' from them, but freaking cool anyway.

It's God Don't Never Change, but with new lyrics and Popper added, listen carefully and you'll know what i mean.

Love it! smile.gif want to hear the whole thing already

Ha, yeah it really is similar to God Don't Never Change. Very similar hmm. Glad they actually did it because they ended up with their best song in a decade.

First of all - Nice Find thumbsup.gif

The clip sounds good and the song does feature harmonica, which fucking rocks. I hope the entire song matches the intensity of the clip.

To me this sounds better than Forever so far!

Can you help me with that as i have not listened to God Don't Never Change? Is God Don't Never Change a Live song, an outtake like Hold Me Up or New City or is it a cover?

I do not think that Purifier sounds like anything they have done so far – this is what is great about Live; the diversity of their music.
