Hey, I was wondering why Chad wrote on his new MysSpace profile (in case you didn't check it out yet, http://www.myspace.com/liveguitarist, "Forthcoming DVD", and right after that ''2008 Action Front''. But a month ago or so it was stated that Sony would release it (at least in Europe?).

By that, I have a feeling that the song that you can hear in Chad's player is Paradiso stuff! (good live recording, so maybe it's of the forthcoming dvd/cd?!). Or does anyone recognise the live version of another bootleg show? His profile avatar is also a picture of him playing in Paradiso, so I guess that makes sense.

Also the picture of Chad sitting down listening to Mandela is one I haven't seen before. thumbsup.gif

LOL!!

Railo did look crack head skinny when I saw him at the meet-n-greet a few weeks ago.

The band made lots of mistakes that night and having seen them perform these songs several times in the past, I chalk those mistakes up to him.

Haha, and yet I get stuck going to a show featuring Railo. At least he wasn't that audible.

I spent like a half hour finding a proxy site that would let me download the original file Chad uploaded to MySpace (none of that 96kbps streaming crap). Here it is, untouched, besides the file name, along with the ID3 tags:

Name: Heaven
Artist: Live
Album: Forthcoming DVD
Year: 2008
Composer: Ed Kowalczyk
Track Number: 13 of 13

Track 13 of 13? Do not fuck us over, LIVE!

tnx alot!

don't worry, it's about the cd tracklisting I guess. They need space on the cd for new songs, remember? nod.gif As long as the DVD is as full as it can be, I'll be fine.

It is not a screw over if we get a full DVD, and a few new tracks on the CD part of the package. I would rather have new material than an identical replay of the DVD.

Thanks, Dan. That's the site that I used. It just never works for me from my IP address, so I have to try proxy after proxy until one works.

If you look at it that way. But I'd personally rather have a double disc like Collective Soul's: full concert (minus the ramblings between the songs) and new material at the end.

Of course it's not a screw over in your eyes, it's Live doing it rolleyes.gif

But why do a 13 track cd when there is obviously more material than that and more disk space than that. But it's not exactly confirmed that there are definitely 13 tracks, hopefully that doesn't mean anything, it could be taken from a CD with 13 different mixes of Heaven or something for all we know.
Also, closing a concert with Heaven (even though I know this wasnt the case at the gig) but at least on the CD is incredibly anti-climatic.

I agree he's a big contributor, I'm actually not sure if Collective Soul's disk contained new songs on it.

As for the DVD/CD, until the official tracklisting is confirmed, we are just speculating. I'm guessing more will come out once this tour ends on the 17th.

I agree - that's what Springsteen did with his live Sessions band CD and it worked out great. Play the songs - cut the crap - and add some new stuff.

By the way I heard U2 is releasing a concert DVD / CD and will release a new album at the same time (don't know if it's true cause I'm not a huge fan) it would be interesting to see the setup.

Also heard Bruce is going to be the Super Bowl half time act! rockin.gif
