I've always been a fan of concert Tee Shirts but when it comes to Live's tee's I ususally end up passing. Over the years there have been a few cool shirts in my opinion like the Selling The Drama tee shirt and the Red Cross tee (although I would have left the back blank) but usually I think they miss the mark.

Recently Live posted their 2008 concert tee's on friendsoflive.com. While I think the front of the Woman's Tee is pretty sweet (they don't show the back) I think the Guy's Tee again totally sucks.

I was wondering, from the people who actually wear band t-shirts, what do you think of Live's t-shirt history and what do you think of the current tour tee's.

On an unrelated note I also wanted to mention that I noticed they pulled the streaming music from their homepage recently. Not exactly sure why shrug.gif .

Damn straight. I'm already listening to music while I surf the net. I don't need every site I visit blasting their crap over the top.

I agree, most of my non-work wardrobe is concert T's, the only recent Live T I have is the green T with the guys name encircling the logo from last year. Most of the new stylized shirts don't excite me. I do like the light green girly T though. There was another tour T at the merch booth on Friday that is not on the website, it is cream shirt with a retro line drawing of a bus, with the text "On the road again", I'll try to get a pict in Seattle on Wednesday.

The STD shirt (and 10") was one of my favs, the original MJ shirt was cool too, too bad it is totally worn out now. The TC and SS era shirts were pretty good.

I heard a rumor that Chad T is taking over merch design.

Pretty cool tshirts I think ... I really dislike the ones that are for example all black with a painfully obvious picture of the latest album cover in a perfect square little box on the front .. it just looks so tacky like I could pick it up at the market.

I think the guys t-shirt is quite cool; very similar to the 2006 tour tee, which I have.

I like them both. Think they are different from the usual band picture t-shirt

Hoodstock linked the STD shirt in the original post.

I think they're not that bad.
but the only thing I don't understand is why on the 2008 shirts Nijmegen is listed as a city in Holland, while Den Haag seems to be in The Netherlands lol.gif

I'm not a huge band t-shirt person, but the girls one is really nice. I'd wear that. The black one, I like the back but not the front for some reason.

Pretty surprised to see negative reviews above. I think they're among the best shirts Live has ever put out. The TDTH tour tee and the old TDTH era Sundial tee are the only other shirts of theirs that I think are pretty cool.

You know what people say? Tourists visit The Netherlands and go for a puff in Holland.

You must understand that to everyone not in or around Holland/The Netherlands we think you're just assholes for trying to confuse the rest of the world with your country/province/territory/state that has multiple names that seem to interchange, I'm sure it's just one big practical joke.
