Hey FansOfLive,
I was just listening to the sample songs from the SONY music store and each of their songs sounds like their previous albums. I originally thought SFBM sounded like TDTH but there are other songs that sound like from SS, BOP and even MJ. Does anyone agree with me on this? Let me know your thoughts about this....

Cool your avatar is from Hfstival 1999. I miss the days when Live was invited to those shows. That show was the first time I heard WFG.

I was thinking the same thing. In my opinion.....

- Wings sounds very MJ. Especially Ed's voice.
- All I Need very TDTH
- There are a couple that also sound like they would have fit on BOP.
- The only one I'm struggling with is one that sounds like SS. Most of the new songs are more upbeat and talk too much about love to be from SS.

I feel like "Night of Nights" is fairly dark, kind of a SS feel.

The clip on Sony's site makes the song sound darker than it actually is. There are many parts in the song where Ed's voice goes high and stays high. The song is still great in my opinion, but it's not really SS-like.

I agree, however I'm wondering if the version they will release is a little darker. Some of the songs are different from the leaked version of the album that I've heard, including "Night of Nights."

So far I feel like all their albums sound through in the new album...which it should
But I wouldn't put the MJ stamp on it.... dont think it'd do em both justice.

If it's a new sound (dont know if that's the way to describe it, it sounded like Live to me) ofcourse it's a good thing! banana.gif
