Well LightsOut and Slainte, you guys were dead on the money calling Dixon over Tebow for the Heisman. Tebow won with 1,957 votes and Dixon got what, 178? Hahahaha, go Tebow! banana.gif

The Heisman is the most overvalued piece of shit in college football. It is a political trophy and does not translate at all to sucess at the next level where real football is played.

I would start a list of Heisman winners who failed to make it in the NFL but it's not worth my time because anyone who knows professional football already understands.

You're right about Heisman winners not having success in the pros, but to claim you know a lot about professional football when you think the Lions are going to the playoffs? Hahahahahaha. banana.gif

lol.gif When they announced Tebow as the winner, I turned to my husband and said, "Damnit! I am never going to hear the end of it from Existentialist on the board!!!!" lol.gif He turned to me and said, "Who!!?!?!?!" and I laughed and replied, "Some crazy ass Gator fan."

I must say, he has some impressive stats and Dixon, had he been healthy, would've had my vote.

Besides, the Tebow is easy on the eyes! tongue.gif

nice~I've had the pleasure of seeing Jim Plunkett's heisman while I was at Stanford. lol.gif I must say it is pretty cool.

A little off topis but what the hell...I am off the see the most non-Heisman candidate next weekend when I am sitting on the 50 yard line at the infamous Candlestick Park, Alex Smith, as the Niners play the Bengals.

A lot of people aren't even sure he wants to go to the NFL. He views so many things as being more important than football, including his college education. He'll be here for two more years, then probably take his degree and do what he wants.

Thanks. After catching part of the Viking~Niner game yesterday, seeing Chad Johnson do his dance will most likely be the best part of the afternoon...that and the free beer! wink.gif

If I was an obnoxious fan, I would wear some of my Steeler gear to the game, but, sadly, I am not. I am, although, taking my terrible towel, just in case I get close enough to H to smack him. lol.gif

Yeah, McFadden should have won. I mean, he only had 36 less touchdowns and 2,122 less yards than Tebow. Yeah, he should have won! I mean, Tebow only got more than two football fields in yards and more than 3 touchdowns per game, right? What gives?

Sorry kids, but for all your hating, Tebow was the rightful winner of the Heisman. He not only was the best player this year, but was the best player college football has seen in decades, which is why he is the first underclassman winner in the entire history of college football. banana.gif
