Man, This seems like a cool site. I actually know many of the bands featured. Too bad I can't understand the language...

I finally found the interview! I always wondered when Ed dropped the guitar for the stage antics and now I know...

As for the 2 songs, the first one was terrible and I was giggling through the whole thing. Sex on the floor as the subject for your song? lol.gif

The second was better but It is still apparent who got the talent in the family tongue.gif

Here's a direct link to the hour long podcast. It's about 80 megabytes in size.

If you want to wait a day or so, I'll cut out the Adam interview and upload it separately.

Here's a link to the Adam Kowalczyk interview + 2 song performance. It runs for about 20 minutes.

Thanks for sharing the link thumbsup.gif

This is the first time I've heard Adam's music. My impressions are that he seems like a helluva nice guy, his tunes are soulful and subdued, folksy I suppose but granting that he was performing acoustically in a radio studio which probably doesn't compliment much. He sounds A LOT like big bro in his speaking voice and even his manner of speaking, but his own identity comes through in the music, those songs really don't remind me of Live at all. He mentioned that he writes lyrics and music using what I consider freestyle journal, which I think is a great creative device but listening to the songs, its almost like he's directly scripting the tunes a lil' much, the experience is kinda like being read to. I enjoy that style to an extent, Seger is a master storyteller that I love listening to. I would enjoy hearing Adam taking more chances, expanding on that intellectual mode into a more abstract region, not focused so heavily on the literal concepts without much opening for imagination or interpretation.

Cheers for this, it was a decent interview. Adam sounded great playing his songs too.
