I had no idea that this board still existed!

Actually, I'm kind of surprised that it does. It's sad to see how far from grace the band has fallen in the eyes of many of their biggest fans (myself included) in the past year or so.

Anyhow, I was listening to the alternate version of TSUFL today and started thinking about how much I used to love Live.

Anybody remember me? Did I miss anything here?

Live self-released an album: “Radiant Sea: A Collection of Bootleg Rarities and Two New Songs”.
You can buy mp3s or a CD from friendsoflive.com
A DVD is planned for next year (yeah, yeah I know)
Live toured minor league ballparks with Counting Crows and Collective Soul.
Live played a new cover song at a few shows: "God Don't Never Change"
Live are performing at some Nelson Mandela AIDs benefit show next month in South Africa.

Don't worry, there are plenty of fans still left to make up for the "loss" of some of the hardcores. Live actually had one of their busiest tour seasons ever in 2007 where they played songs that they haven't in years. I for one am really looking forward to 2008 to see what the band has in store for those of us not stuck in the 90's.

I don't know...call me silly, I wish they where still writing songs like the ones from the 90's.
I like the newer songs but I like the old ones better. I don't let that bother me 'cause I appreciate that they are still writing new songs and touring.

You left kinda when I showed up I think. Good to have you back!

You gotta hear Radiant sea! Go to Live's Myspace for a cheap hearing of it. Also, what is this new TSUFL you speak of??

yeah, that alternate TSUFL is in fact a totally different song ...well with half the TSUFL we known and the other part is just something different, hehe.

Wonder where this very early TDTH demo came from

I remember you.

You comments show that you highly underestimate the fans of Live.

There hasn't been a fall from grace here.

Apparently you miss out when you abandon ship!

Yes.

I guess I wasn't as much out of the loop as I thought. I got an email from FOL, so I knew about "Radiant Sea." I bought the CD, but, unfortunately, was turned off immediately by the fact that all of the "bootleg rarities" were just the same songs from the annual Christmas Gift. What a crock of shit. The two new songs aren't very impressive either, as much as I wanted to like them.

A DVD has been planned for every year since about 2000, I think. To quote Ed: "I'll believe it when I see it for myself."

Would have loved to see Live and Counting Crows together again, but alas, it doesn't look like any of the ballpark shows made it west.

This "God Don't Never Change" cover is definitely news to me. Who did the original version? Is there anywhere I can download Live's cover?

Thanks. I remember you were involved in some pretty deep conversations too, back when those things happened here. I always enjoyed reading what you had to say.

Does mrmcpheezy ever come around anymore?
