Question to the fans of Live - Which Live song has the best guitar riff? (If you want you can also throw in what you think has the worst guitar riff)

I'd have to say that right now I think the opening riff to Simple Creed is my favorite guitar moment. I'll evaluate it though.

The first thing that comes to mind for worst riff is Freaks, but again, I'll think it over.

What are your thoughts?

This is the first one that came to my mind too, but I'll have to think about it a little more.

I've done alot of thinking on this and I came up with this:

Lj is equal to "Heropsychodreamer" but "stage" is just like a faster HSD (faster doesn't mean better)

I think mystery has a pathetic riff. Freaks isn't a riff song, I think the drumming carries the song.

Also, listen to "Wings" I was surprised how well it stacked up against other albums.

Run To The Water

Clarification - I was thinking of a riff as more a part of a song, not the entire song. Just one guitar part so I guess I could have worded it better.

With this in mind that's why I was saying the beginning of Simple Creed.

A riff is the part of the song that is repeated by the guitar and is very recognizable and forms a pattern in the song.

A famous example is smoke on the water. dun dun duuun dun dun da dun can be recognized easily. Here's a good link to riffs
