I saw an ad on Music Max this morning saying that Ed will be performing an acoustic concert in Sydney on March 23, it's for the Max Sessions program.

Apparently there are only a handful of tickets being given away.

I couldn't find anything on the website yet, but the link is below:

I don't think Live have ever done an acoustic show on Music Max to replay. They did the Live at the Chapel a few years back, but they don't replay them on Music Max.
They didn't actually show any new acoustic-footage in the promo, just video clip stuff, so I'm pretty certain it's a new show.

fuck that pisses me off but. Youd think they would of let us know he was coming to australia. like they better not just suddenly announce their touring here in two weeks time casue im fucked to get time off work... i was thinking august tour maybe.

Hey Dan any chance you can find out some info on this acoustic gig?

It's not really unusual for them not to be announcing in full detail or really early that Ed's coming down for a quick solo show for one night in Sydney for promo.

I don't think they're touring yet, it sounds like it's just Ed doing the show. It's probably just a quick promo tour. Most bands do it just before the album comes out, they then come back later in the year for a full tour.

I reckon Foo Fighters have done it a couple of times when they've played only one show at Channel V, and then come back later for a full tour.

fuck oath thats awesome wish i could of seen it, i was the one complainin a couple of weeks ago that Live hadn't done an acoustic show here in years and look what happens. Someone from the band must of seen my post. maybe i should ask them to play at my 21st..........."oh Ed.....?"
