Pollstar just announced that Live will be playing the University of Pittsburgh on April 14th. My guess is that it will be a private show but I'll check for confirmation later today. If anyone knows what the deal is, please feel free to post the info.

Why would you think it would be a private show? They used to play colleges all the time and tickets were always available to the public. Students get first shot a tickets but after that the public can buy them.

Is it going to be students-only or what? I was planning on heading home that weekend and then going to the Allentown show with Aly, but if we could somehow get into the Pittsburgh show...I'd definitely be up for two shows in two days.

I don't think my body could take that.

I'd be obligated to go to the Philly show and I'd probably just die of exhaustion.

Edit: Also a private show can mean that you can't buy tickets you have to win them. MMR's spring break was considered a private show cause you could not buy tickets.

My guess is that the pitt show is a radio show.

"stud" posted over here that the show is probably a free show at Pitt.

There is no very little credible information out there on this show.

I finally called the Pitt program council today. The girl on the phone said that Live IS playing Bigelow Bash, but she didn't know what time. She also thought that the event was free for students, but $10 for non-students. As part of Bigelow Bash there is a "Battle Of The Bands" on April 9, the winner gets to open for Live.

I did find these two mentions of Live playing Bigelow Bash as well.
Pfunct looks to be one of the bands in "Battle Of The Bands"

And jaz1yn must be a Pitt student that happen to mention that Live is playing Bigelow Bash on her blog.

I think we will risk it and drive from Lancaster to Pitt on Saturday and cross out fingers that the guys will playing there. And then drive back to Allentown on Sunday morning for the 3rd show in 3 days!!!

[UPDATE: The battle of the bands is now listed on the Pitt program council website and it does mention that Live is playing.
