For anyone who is interested, I did a bit of recording with a few guys from here in Melbourne who are forming a band called Cyanide. We all pitched in a bit and bought some time recording in SAE's studio here and made a few songs, well they made a few I joined in to sing on 3. It was mucho fun and I think the recordings turned out really well, so take a listen if you have nothing better to do smile.gif

This first one is called Tongues.

Go ahead, I know I kind of sound like i'm wearing extremely tight pants for most of it .. but on a Live message board no one should complain about that!

Well then, as said before, love the music guitar.gif . The vocals were good but not memorable. I think it was cause there was just too much falsetto throughout the songs and the music totally overpowered the vox. It seemed as if the the lead singer's ( was it you? ) should have switched between natural, heavy voice and falsetto, instead of realing just mostly on the falsetto.
Take James Hetfield~sp? and Surge from System. With them its like their voices match the music and doesnt get lost in all the guitar.gif sound. Get what I mean?

That being said; well done, my good man, well done! rockin.gif thumbsup.gif

Oh yeah, huh.gif and you shocked the shit outta me, I was expecting something Moz-esque not some badass heavy metal kicking.gif .

Hardened Regards,
Lively Chick tongue.gif

hehe Moz isn't the ONLY music I like .. although it seems that way. Yeah it needs practice I think, that was only the first recording so if it goes ahead and becomes something more hopefully over time we'll get it right. Maybe even try a different direction. we're just gonna see how things go after some more practice.
