You know that site imdb and how you can find just about anything on anyone that has anything to do with film or movies? Actors, actresses, directors, producers, etc ...

Is there a parallel site for music? Every other minute my brain gets taken over by questions like, who produced this? Who wrote it? Who mixed it? blah blah blah

I've been jumping into amazon.com everytime, hoping for some extra album notes, but that's very limited. Basically, I need liner notes for every song, ever, in one single website.

You could always try Wikipedia too. Has a fair bit of music info.

hi - i'm bringing this back to life. i never found a site that really helped me find what i need.

does anyone know of any sites (other than the few listed here already) that provide info on where albums were recorded, who mixed it, who produced it, all that kind of stuff...

i want to be able to search by album & have it tell me all the credits for it. then i want to be able to search by studio & have it tell me all the work that was done there.
