I have listened very carefully and I don't think it's a triangle.

Then I have read the booklet of "Songs from Black" mountain and this is what I have found (on one of the last pages):

Under the line which says "Thanks for the continued support to:" you can read the names of Mike Farriss and Derek Wolfford, they were playing at pearl drums and John DeChristopher and Jim McGathey were playing the Zildjian cymbals.
I think it's one of their instruments you hear.
