Yeah, but it sucked!!!! He destroyed the song. The song was above his vocal ability. He's lucky the band was loud.

On that show, they only give them as many songs as their are contestants to choose from. If 10 people are left, they pick 10 songs and they have to choose who gets what. They don't get to pick their own songs until they are in the bottom 3. Ryan may not in fact be a Live fan, he may have actually gotten stuck with I Alone and was just being diplomatic about it.

Or, he could be a huge Live fan. Who knows?

no he wanted it that song badly i have to say the house band are superb made up for his bad vocals i probably sound as bad as him

He totally sucked and Ed rocks that song so hard, it was difficult to listen to when you can remember how good Ed sings that live.
