beause the melody is great!!! the lyric sucks, i'm with you... but the drums are so good!!!

I don't get it either. Ther's nothing special about it. I see the potential it has because it definately could have been so much better. Maybe more heartfelt, raw piercing vocals shrug.gif ? They just didn't sell the song to me. This is first album that I'm disappointed by Ed's vocals. Ah well.....

I find the whole song monotone and annoying, personally. Maybe its just that so many people were talking about how great it was and it didn't live up to the hype for me.

I voted Wings.. doesn't do a single thing to me.. Love shines isn't really great too and same goes for Home.. the rest is bearable though.. not great but bearable

This was tough for me, I enjoy the whole album. WDWGFH gote my vote though, nothing unique stands out on that song for me. Only 1 I skip.

Did I say it was brilliant you pole smokin' weiner eater? Nothing on this cd is brilliant you fuck. But I think Wings probably is the best song. Lyrics are different and the chorus is strong. The melody in the verses is pretty damn good too and Ed's voice is about as powerful in this song as anything Live has made in a while.

Saying it's the worst song is inane. The River is so far worse then this song, it can't even be compared. As are several other songs on this cd.

So all I'm saying is that your opinion sucks unwashed Arab ass after it's been on a camel for a week. Put you on my "megamoron" list for sure.

the lyrics are probably the worst on the album, even with the "la la di da" stuff in The River. All I hear when I listen to the chorus of Night of Nights is basically "ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I give you my loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove, its all that I have to gi-ooooooooooove". Absolutely horrible. I can't figure out for the life of me what people hear in that song that makes them think its so great.

And by the way, fuck yourself. smile.gif

you are not alone....and i wouldn't vote for the WHOLE album, maybe just 4 or 5 songs. i think that the lyrics on love shines are quite silly, but i kinda enjoy the music. the river pretty much sucks, too IMO
