I *just* finished watching this after one of my friends texted it to me earlier tonight, since he knows I'm a huge Live fan.

My thoughts:

-I haven't listened to this song in many years due to burnout, and also because of some personal issues going on in the last year of my life, and I was a sobbing mess at the end in the best way. I don't know that I would have watched this video if he hadn't sent it to me. I would have totally shrugged it off. I'm glad I watched it.

-Interesting that she made a Maynard comparison. I bet Ed would be proud of that. Damn good company.

-Interesting that she called out the visuals that looked like the band was separating or passing, since Ed's the only original member left.

-Yes, the band speeds up as the song ends, which works in the general structure of this particular song, but also because they don't use a click (at least in the early days of MJ/TC/SS, but I don't think they ever did) so it just sped up naturally, but it works perfectly in this song. If it was the same exact tempo all the way through, I don't think it would be as impactful. There's something to feel, dammit.

I had never heard of her before, but she's got a great ear, and her comments were all on point.
