Saw the article this morning, definately an interesting read for any Līve fan. Info about the reunion pay, Ed used to beat up Chad in school, Ed currently defends Hynes (based on Chad's email). It's possible all or none of it is true. Who knows?

I must have missed that portion. I only saw where Ed had stated, "innocent until proven guilty", which carried no opinion with it.

I saw this, this morning on yahoo, man was the comments section worth the read!

It was most interesting to me that PD refused to be interviewed, I would have figured since he was involved with most of the lawsuits he’d want his truth out there.

The rolling stones article was certainly a good read - don't start it unless you have half an hour to kill. I would have liked to see the context for Ed defending Hynes. I find it hard to believe anyone from the band would want to work with him again unless they were forced to. My guess is that Taylor is in it so deep with Hynes that he's being forced to work with him on business ventures they've went in on and Hynes plans to make Taylor a sort of fall guy for whatever he can. Hynes can scrape money out of Taylor to cover the terrible investments that Hynes got Taylor into while making it all seem like it was Taylor's idea.

One thing this article did well was showcase Taylor's desperation at this time. I have no doubt that part is accurate. Of course he wants to play in the band and start making money. He's way overextended and likely facing pressures on all sides.

A chronicle of the past 15 years of LIVE. Though RS did an attempt to look at all sides, it is clear it is mostly told from CT pov. I assume he still has something to gain from reaching out to them.

Never realized CCT sold their publishing rights. Anyone knows who owns them now?

Yes. Just had the time to read the article and I’m crying over here. Heartbreaking for sure.
Explains so much, except for the one thing… proud of Ed for doing “his best to stay above the ugly squabbling that has consumed his band mates”, but on the other hand, it’s not clear if he’s still chums with Hynes or not. If so, I’m bothered by that and that’s conflicting.

Not surprising, really. I’ve gotten dumb comments from random people about liking Līve from just wearing their merch. It’s ignorance on their part (as you describe).
