I watched the MAX Session on Foxtel today, WOW, what a great show, very intimate and candid and he sounded fucken awesome!! I tried to tape it but I coudn't get the damn recorder to work in time, hopefully I can get it work next time it's on. Perhaps they'll put it on DVD soon. Was anyone from this board there?

It's going to be repeated a bunch of times so you should have a second chance to see it. Check the tv guide over at foxtel.com.au. I was fortunate to be there and the pretty much everything that happened live was broadcast. There were a couple of edits (ie. when Ed needed to restart Get Ready) but nothing major.

Did you happen to record the broadcast yourself, Dan?

Yeah, I did. Here's a link to the performance of 'Get Ready' from the Max Session. Ed said that it was the first time he had played the song in front on an audience. The video is about 16 megabytes in size.

I was also at Ed's max session. I havn't seen the performance on tv yet as i don't have foxtel anymore, but i got my auntie to tape it for me.
Ed sounded amazing! I was hoping that they wouldn't edit out Ed's stuffup on "Get Ready", that was funny. But i'm glad to here that they didn't do much editing with the rest of the show.

I'll try. I'm working on a DVD that contains the Max performance + a couple of other TV appearances - but in the meantime I'll try to upload more of the tracks.

Nice work again dangum. You know where to send a copy of that DVD once you've made it! lol.gif

I was at the show in Sydney too, and seeing it on TV again the other night was almost as cool.

I've uploaded the whole Ed Max Session to rapidshare. I've split the broadcast so that each song is in a separate file. A brief interview may preceed some tracks.

The video was encoded in the DivX format and the audio in the AAC format. I hope you enjoy the show.

Do I need to install some additonal codec? It plays the video, but without sound.

Yep. You need the AAC audio codec. You can download it from:

Thanks Dan! I managed to dowload a codec pack that solved the problem.
