Where is Ed? Options

Correct me if I’m wrong, but the last time any fan has seen Ed Kowalczyk was the January 14th “Seshin’ With Swami” interview, eh?

He last posted on Instagram (Bernie Sanders TC album meme) January 21.

He hasn’t tweeted since 2019.

And Facebook (I’m not a member) looks to be March 9 (a repost of a canned photo Live’s FB puts out).

He used to be a frequent social media user and he himself occasionally interacted with fans (including me once ).

No one else finds his absence extremely strange and/or concerning?

Ed's been known to disappear from Social Media. I don't find it strange, however Live since Feb 2020, have been totally dormant. And that is a disappointment.

Disappointing more than strange or concerning. The potential inference might be that the break from touring took their last desires out of making music and they are taking an early retirement. But then again the last time he went eerily silent was right before the reunion so maybe (just maybe) we are in store for a surprise.

Yes, he did go silent for months before the reunion. -It’s strange to me in that is the beginning of a change in his online presence. I’ve always wondered if he was asked in some kind of reunion agreement (?) to keep quiet. If so, that really sucks.

The concerning part for me is the early retirement fear. Although I sort of do wish they would just call it quits instead of status quo. It would sure give me some closure to them being part of my life for almost 30 years.

Definitely disappointing as bands are announcing fall tours left and right and we have new music from other bands who still give a damn. I do hope you are right in the “maybe, just maybe” part.

legal issues with CCP must be a part of it there. And it must freak Ed out. Anything he posts that would be related to the band can be put back to his face because of what happened. I understand his silence. Found some new bands to cheer to be honest.

What would Ed be getting income from right now? He doesn’t have all the side ventures the rest of them do. Honest question. What kind of money are any of them making with the name Līve right now?

I can’t imagine a contract would preclude him from making music if the remainder of the band (CCP) is being sued for all the things that have been discussed.

I do believe that no Ed solo shows/music could have been part of the agreement to get back together.

Ed has not played solo at all since early 2015.

Again, I have no knowledge, just being speculative.
