And there we go... first date in The Netherlands. The Concert at Sea Festival on June 28. Yes, at the sea, as the festival name says. I think Ed played there solo before (2010?).

Hope more Holland and European dates will follow from now on soon!

Browse on Youtube wink.gif you can watch a lot of recordings there. And I can’t really say it was still a small festival back in 2009.

I’m a little confused tho. This was the same summer they broke up? I mean, I remember Ed playing some solo gigs already and at the same time touring with LIVE, but I don’t recall these massive gigs. Also, his ‘full band’ shows started in 2010, right?

Are you travelling to Holland specifically for the festival? Will this be your first Live show?

Would have 10-15 years ago. I have hopped over for other bands during the last several years.

This time I would hardly bother. Only if they perform there when I am around.

I know my post count pegs me as a relative newbie, but I assure you I am far from new to LIVE, and following just about every detail including setlists, etc--so I'm just curious about what I'm missing (I'm not trying to be snide here, I want to know what I'm missing!) Everyone on this board (including me) complained all tour so far about the unchanging setlist, but then this setlist has--what is to me two somewhat surprising--changes, and not only is everyone nonplussed, nobody even mentions it! Even when I asked about it! Is there something I don't get?

I don’t really think those changes are a surprise and therefore, didn’t garner comments. Seems they favor playing Overcome and RTTW when in Europe. What would be surprising would be like, Heropsychodreamer or Like I Do.

I get that those songs aren't surprising in that sense, but with all the annoyance over the canned setlist, I'd have thought ANY change would have at least garnered a comment or two.
