It's funny, as I checked out CT's post this morning without realising it was one of their songs. Me thinking they were just hanging out listening to some cool music. It was only until I read the comments I realised it was theirs! Holy freaking shit.

Ofcourse it's a bad recording of a cellphone playing. But as far as I could hear musically it could match the TGF and Shinn era, they didn't hold that back for new Live! Ed doesn't sound anything like BoP, SFBM or solo. Quite high but not in a bad way.

First thing I thought when I heard it was a 90ies feeling, yet fresh and somehow familiar. Riff sounded SS and early TDTH-era. But I try to get not too excited as I only heard a crappy recording haha and maybe in this quality even Believe would sound exciting raw . Hope it's not just me being excited while waitimg freaking 10 years for ECCP making music together again

Yea, I'm cautiously optimistic. Sounds like they're heading in the right direction. I know it's a raw recording so I'll wait for the final mix.

I like 10,000 Cups better but this has a good riff. Anxious to hear the final recording and more songs! I think they're going in a good direction.

After listening to the song through my headphones I'm not sure now that I'll like this tune. The lyrics and Ed's high voice don't match the music. I loved TGF and The Turn so the music holds up for CCP, but not sure if Ed is a match anymore? Again...it's a rough version so the least I can do is appreciate that they released this sample and I'll wait for the final cut.

That was also my first impression. Love the riff, not really loving how the vocals fit with it. I think Ed is still a match for Live's music but just not too sure about this song. Really wish they would let us hear 10, 000 Cups again. Ed sounds great on that song. I will reserve judgement on this song until we hear the final version.
