Hi folks! I'm sorry, I'm a noob to the board (but a lifelong fan) and I'm sure this has been discussed a million times, but, IS there an actual dam at Otter Creek, and if so, where? I've been researching it all day and getting literally nothing. Thanks!

Yes, there's an Otter Creek in PA.

Also, take a read of this thread for other Live related landmarks.

Edit: fixed link (not sure how the wrong link got there!)

https://goo.gl/maps/4UeSKFgsHBJ2 (the sign, albeit not the original anymore)

Well, according to a comment to this video:

"Its not just a metaphor. There is a trail up the creek. Where a man made dam was built and it is the only place deep enough to dive. I use to live there in 96. I have my pics to prove it. and yes Live uses many metaphors and deep meanings in their songs. This video is of the river not otter creek."

Great write-up rivertown, thanks for sharing. I made my first pilgrimage in '98 for a Chameleon Club show (second pilgrimage was in 2007 for another Chameleon Club show, plus Pittsburgh and Allentown shows that same weekend.)

The sign had a few additions between when the back cover art picture was taken and my visit in '98.

Wow, Brian, it's amazing how much and how many times one sign can change over the years!
