Chad Taylor wanted to make Ecstatic Fanatic into an album for the fans, and then we got V instead. But one has to wonder what the album could've been like. So in that light, I'd like to share my own take on how the album could've been handled as far as tracks go, and the reasoning behind them.

1: Intro/Simple Creed - (I put these two together because they seem to flow well together, especially with that transition from track 1 to track 2. So why not have them together?)

2: Vine Street (One of my favorite TDTH outtakes! This one just has that edgy feel that works well alongside Simple Creed, but hits much harder.)

3: Deep Enough (Keeping it where it originally was on V, but perhaps have the original flow and lyrics from 2000, prior to V's release.)

4: Like a Soldier (Like Deep Enough, it's kept where it originally was.)

5: Don't Wait (Replacing People Like You, even though I like the song.)

6: Transmit Your Love (Again, like Deep Enough, keeping it's original spot.)

7: Deeper (This is a good spot for my absolute favorite TDTH outtake, to help slow the album down and put a good mellow groove in.)

8: Forever May Not Be Long Enough (Replacing Call Me a Fool, because GOD that song sucks!)

9: Still Aroused (Replacing Flow, to kick things back into high gear for the next few tracks.)

10: OK (Replacing The Ride's spot to keep the pacing with Still Aroused.)

11: Nobody Knows (Keeps it's spot to slow the album down for the ending.)

12: Overcome (For this, it has to be the full band version to keep the pacing from Nobody Knows.)

13: The Ride (Taking Overcome's original spot to help build for the final track...)

14: Radiant Sea (Ending the album with one of the two songs removed for V, the better one at that!)

15: Beautiful Invisible (This would be the hidden track, as The Fast and The Furious wasn't out yet, so the remix of Deep Enough would be gone.)

And there you have it! My personal tracklist of what Ecstatic Fanatic could've been like. What do you all think? happy.gif

Just looking at this list made me think how much better the TC and SS Outtakes are than the TDTH outtakes. It's not even close, they are miles apart, actually worlds apart.

i would throw in the first version of TSUFL if there's a better studio version than what we have.
