It didn't chart on Billboard's Indie album chart.

SFBM was #3, and Alive and TGF both charted in the top 25.

By your own metric of success you can see the decline from V on.

Thanks for proving what we've all be saying, it's been on a steady decline since TDTH and all value of the brand diminished. What did you truly expect of a new Live album? After the garbage that's been put out starting with V?

The decline started in the 2000's, but I thought CCP were supposed to right the ship with Ed gone. They would bring Live back to the music of their 90's heyday. Instead they created Live's lowest charting album by a mile.

lol, you don't give up. I'm glad this nonsense has its own dedicated thread. Maybe the charts talk can die happily here.

They have righted the ship, now it's just discovery. General consumers are gonna see "Live" on the album cover and think they are getting more "Love Shines" and pass on it. Maybe they will learn otherwise. I've heard nothing but positive remarks on the album save for you and crazy cat lady.

there are definitely lingering effects of the 2000s era Live affecting sales. Blaming the current album for its weak initial reception is akin to blaming the shitty economy on an incoming president. Everyone knows that the outgoing administration fucked things up, but its easy to point the finger at the new guy.

Its going to take some time to build up momentum again. I don't they'll ever reach the same popularity as they did in the 90s, for countless reasons that have nothing to do with Live. As such, I think its silly to dwell too much on these chart ratings.

The above statement is just truly embarrassing. I barely ever post on here, just read what others have to day - but this is truly low. Personally I don't care about billboard what-so-ever. But even if you look at it wisely - last Live album came out back in 2006 - there are lots of people that don't even remember about the band called Live or still think that they are no longer a band. Surely give it some time before making any judgments. On the other hand - who even cares about billboard? I know you do, judging by the assortiment of music that you like. There are fantastic musicians out there that never even ended up being on the billboard list. In regards to the turn, there are not many reviews of the album out there, but the reviews that are already out there are good. Which means that people are enjoying it. I did not enjoy the album myself that much, but at least i do not post that garbage that you like posting. I do respect the guys for putting an effort into making a decent rock album. At least they are being true to themselves. I'll be the first one to admit the same about Ed if he ever makes an effort to make a decent album, but unfortunately it did not happen yet.

Hey Mr Nonsense, try to be smarter next. You have just admitted that Ed killed Live and that CCP were expected to bring back to life.

The only thing the OP proves is that Ed sank the brand so hard that even Jesus himself couldn't right the ship. It'll take some time with many concerts, new albums, guest appearances, and good music all without Ed. This is going to burn Ed lovers but guess what? CCP and Chris Shinn run the Live show now and here on out.

Ed hasn't been in Live since 2009. Live reformed without Ed in early 2012. To blame Ed for Live's new album tanking in 2014 is truly ridiculous.

You are wrong (again)! Nobody blames Ed for how The Turn is currently doing in the charts. We blamed him for destroying the sound of Live - this is a fact. You started the whole thing by arguing that CCP did not manage to make an album that would chart better and therefore they killed Live. We responded to such a laughable argument by saying that Ed took Live so low that it would be impossible to bring it back.
