Haha. Anyone who thinks there is ANY chance that the guys accept that loser thief back as their lead singer is sorely mistaken, severely delusional, and stuck in a distorted reality.

I'm glad they can laugh about it but I'd say the comment makes the guys seem unmotivated. Why wait so long? They were not victims of Ed's musical direction so long as they stayed on board. If they were so unhappy with Ed, they could have split anytime whether they thought Ed was easily replaceable or not.

Sometimes even those is in abusive relationship can't let go. Who are we to say how these guys felt during those times? Were we in their shoes?

No.

However, after hearing what has been made public from both camps, I firmly believe they were the victims.

Wow, really pulling back the curtain. So if they were ready to do this around 2004, trouble probably started well before then. They had to wait until their current situation was definitively worse than their perceived risk of dropping Ed. Over time, the situation got worse and the risk went down. Till it happened.

I agree. It takes time to realize there is an issue, then time to decide if it's temporary or fixable. Then, if you have complications on top of that, like longstanding relationships and deep bonds, it takes even look longer.

Absolutely. And even after the relationship has "desolved", the abused can still have trouble coming to grips or truly move on from the abuse and abuser.

It's simply an admission that they should have parted ways before and you can be sure that CCP regret to have waited all these years.

I don't know that Pat was being exact when he said 10 years. They were touring with BOP and things may have been fine. Ed didn't give an ultimatum yet according to Chad.

I agree he's not coming back any time soon. But where is the proof to label him a thief?
