house sounds very different without live...it's pretty shocking that Ed is going to attempt to sing some of these TC tracks. TDAOC? Stage?

Yeah, House does sound a lot different than HORSE

I think Horse and Iris both sound great, very impressed

Must say Iris sounds good...didn't like Horse, but if he gives that kind of performance for other rockers (TDAOC, Stage), it could be good. His new guitarist looks good at finding tones (if he is the one responsible for it). I'm not sure also if Ed had these Marshall amps before. It will help him sounding closer to the recordings.
