Live was predominately featured today on Friday night's UFC Primetime for the UFC 154 St-Pierre vs. Condit fight.

Lightning Crashes, with Chris Shinn vocals, was played extensively for about the last 5 minutes of the episode as they showed both fighters finalizing their training for the title fight tomorrow.

Is that a television program? Are there any video clips of it?

was there a different version? As much as I'd like this to be true, it's the original.

You obviously don't follow UFC. There are three episodes before every fight. You only found 1.

Here is the episode featuring Lightning Crashes. It aired last night at 11 pm on FX and was posted to the UFC website after it aired on the west coast.

The song starts at the 18:05 mark and runs until the end of the episode:

UFC 154 Prime Time (Episode 3)

Lightning Crashes is perfect the way it was. There was no need for an update. I'm glad UFC used the right version(the one people actually know and love).

"the right version", according to you, there is no "right" version now, dipshit.
apparently it's not the one people know and love because Hoodie couldn't tell the difference. I love the way you say that though like it's impossible for people to love any other version of the songs we know.

The other re-recordings I love, but the Lightning Crashes one I am a bit iffy on, then again I'm quite content to never hear any version of the song again, it's just been done to death and they have so, so, so, SO much better songs.

Ed doesn't need you to defend him in the court of public opinion. The sr. on the other hand...

Please tell Ed there is also no need for his updates to all the Live songs he now performs in his solo, but not really solo, I Alone tour where his last few set-lists have been 70% Live songs even though he wanted to move on from Live.

His new versions of classics do suck. Plus he has basically lost his voice. I wish he would either just play his new crap or at least stick to original style but no can do...
