I don't think that is what he meant, I think he wants any of the arguing that plagues other threads to instead be put here, so for example the Ed forums can go back to having 2 posts per thread (ie, SJN announcing a date and then 6 months later asking if anyone went). So I think he's trying to clean up the arguing into one place, not promote it.
