Above is a link to pictures from Ed's show last night and very brief review:

Ed Kowalczyk of the band Live put on an amazing acoustic show this Friday night at the Whiskey Roadhouse. Ed is a truly gifted artist that can vocalize just as well live as he does in the studio. Be sure to check out a show at the Whiskey Roadhouse in the Horse Shoe Casino.

Of Live? Wow I thought Ed left live, good to know he's still part of the band.

It's one thing that Ed spreads false advertising but Nick knows all too well the problems with this stuff yet he helps spread it here, should really edit that post Nick! Ah but then people won't know who Ed is, right?

His false advertising may have to come to an ultimate end........soon. 10/22 court date looms to move trial #1 towards a) either a settlement, or b) a jury trial based on his stubborness.

Friday night was yet another cozy and fun-filled evening at The Whiskey Roadhouse. The crowd was enthusiastic and energized by the acoustic performance of Ed Kowalczyk. Yes, that Ed K from the band Live. While he’s had his share of turmoil after leaving the band in 2009, the show Friday night was energetic and poignant, and his talent was well received. Mr. Ed is certainly capable of continued success as a solo performer.

Kowalcyzk has released a new solo album, which he shamelessly promoted repeatedly from the stage, and after his 75 minute musical cabaret, he thrilled his fans with the opportunity to meet him and purchase an autographed copy.

But don’t miss the message here – the evening wasn’t about self-promotion, it was about the quality of the music and the talent that is so prevalent in every pore of his soul. His vocals were clear and sincere and his guitar strokes were precise and powerful. Kowalczyk treated us to a menagerie of songs from his past and his present and the fans were thrilled with his set. We sang along with many of the tunes, including Heaven and a very powerful encore of Lightening Crashes.

The intimacy of the Roadhouse was a perfect showcase for Kowalczyk. The acoustics were excellent and the event was very relaxed and had a nearly personal feel. Everything about it was just right….great friends, great music. In my music world, it was pretty spiritual.

he sure doesn't need the money...ish. At least the reviewer wrote it. But if the reviewer wrote it, I don't want to know how many times he must have said: " don't forget people my new record (yes, from 2010) is out. Anyway, I would enjoy an acoustic gig from him, but with everything that happened, I can't give him my money.

If i gave a shit about stuff that happened with MOST of the bands i love i wouldn't have ANY CD's !
I fucking HATE some certain artists and bands but i love the music and that is what really matters to me. Not buying their SHIT just because of something they may have "done" that you didn't like is just well, ANAL IMO. If you like the music ...seriously. Why would that even matter.

Not all the bands are going with bad blood after a split. I made a choice and will stick to it because it is clear that something went wrong in Ed's ego over years. So no more money from me to him. I bought Alive. Terrible mistake. And your ANAL analogy well, nothing to say about it except that it doesn't raise any level of discussion here.
