The article used to be link to by this website: (http://ctstompingground.tripod.com/main.htm) but the link was broken.

Thankfully, the link was archived by the wayback machine (I'm officially in love with the wayback machine).

I am re-reading this old interview again, and I want to quote a part of it!

"There's that old cliché about how the great songs sound complete with just a voice and an acoustic guitar....
Ed: Totally true. You can whisper it, sing it, jam it, rock it, but torn down, it's all the same.
"Selling the Drama" might be like that, but "Lakini's Juice"...
Ed: ...isn't like that at all. I know. That is a paradox, because that song is totally reliant on Chad's guitar tone, on the dynamic and electricity of it. Building a Song on a sound that's "manufactured" is a new direction for us, at least in terms of the music guiding the lyrics. I think it's just a matter of us getting better. "Unsheathed," "Lakini" -- those are signposts for the future of Live."

Well that never happened tear.gif tear.gif

Hope the reborn +LIVE+ will pick up on this....
