Actually, I consider the likes of OTD, myself, and a few others who have been along the ride with Live since the early 90's as the "Live purists".

According to the real "Live purists", this new incarnation of Live is better compared to what we witnessed during the 00's.

I bought my first Live album in mid '94, started going to shows, and have been following the band since.

As a purist I'd say the new incarnation is not comparable to anything during the 00's or any other period for that matter.

Also, classifying people as purists is dumb. It sounds like we are creating elitist classes within the fanbase.
