With Ed no longer being a part of Live, I've been asked to replace the two banners used on this site.

Firstly, there is the banner that is used on the top of every http://www.fansoflive.com page:
http://www.fansoflive.com/pics/global/header.jpg

and then there's the forum banner:
http://www.fansoflive.com/pics/global/head...ackmountain.jpg

If anybody is interested in submitting their designs, I'll start a poll and everybody can have a say into which ones are chosen.

The new banners need to meet the following requirements:

1. Banners must be the same resolution as the existing ones.
eg. 745 x 100 (web site banner)
860 x 100 (forum banner)

2. They should match the colour scheme of the current site. (ie. SFBM brown)

3. If concert shots are used, then permission must be sought from the photographer. Any official promo shots should be fine to use.

So, if you want to show your creative side, post your creations in this thread. thumbsup.gif

Maybe you should wait and see how long this latest version of LIVE lasts. Zman opened the Gracious Few fansite only to watch the band stop touring shortly after.

Ed is also a huge part of LIVE and should be represented on the site. If you want to add Shinn, Ed should get his place on the banner too.

I have a good place for him. See the very bottom right hand corner of the screen with the current date and time? We can put a tiny picture of Ed there and replace the main banners with the new lead singer. Sounds like a plan to me! banana.gif banana.gif banana.gif

Correction...Ed WAS a huge part of Live.

I don't think a guy that wronged all the other Live members and then refuses to communicate with them deserves to have a section of the forum much less their face on the banner of a website of a band he isn't in.

Ed Kowalczyk wants to tour solo and perform the songs he helped create on his own. Remember Ed wrote all the lyrics and a good chunk of the music for LIVE. Heck, he even picked the name LIVE.

That said, if Ed formed a new band and called it LIVE, members of this board would freak out way worse than I am. CCP own the LIVE name, but Ed Kowalczyk solo is just as much LIVE as they are.
