Ed is debuting his new "I Alone" acoustic tour on April 21st in Mexico City. The tour is rumored to kick into full gear late 2012 into 2013 at this point.

He's also moving on from Live and focusing on his solo work, nope, most definitely not. Still going to try and milk every last dollar he can from the Live name.

Set lists will be at minimum 60% Live songs.

from ed's twitter. picture says "Ed Kowalczyk (of LIVE)" and the article says the same a few times. It's his twitter... clearly he saw it. I'm truly irritated that he is continuing. I'm also surprised... the guys offer him an olive branch and his response is to continue to antagonize??

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the response we've been receiving since Monday's VIP dress rehearsal. It is infinitely rewarding to again be able to perform these songs with the passion we all know they deserve. I'd love to write more, but we're in Austin, TX for SXSW. We'll speak soon...

When CCP talk about playing with "renewed passion" remember, they're not just cutting on Ed, but also on themselves for lacking that intensity for the last 10 years. They were there for SBFM, too. Anything they say about Ed lacking passion, they can certainly say about themselves... at least in performances.

Anyway, I can't believe Ed's still letting himself be billed as (of live) when he clearly knows he's not anymore, and there cannot be any way he imagines it to be legally ok. Whether there was an olive branch or whether CCP are doing everything imaginable to tear him down (they're not, btw - they put a space for him on their website forum, for crying out loud!!) he needs to be an adult about it, and add a "formally" to the "of live"

I'm sure there is a legal issue with them re-recording classic LIVE songs and not billing them as as new versions. It is almost that they are trying to pass off their new inferior versions as the Throwing Copper classics with Ed.

The "Ed Kowalczyk" section was available for a very short period of time when the site was launched. The Ed section is no longer there. Here's a screen shot that was taken 5 minutes ago showing the available forums.
