Nick you must be the one that's voted "hate" already. I don't see how anyone could HATE it, I mean it's just not that offensive in any way. Maybe it's not all that catchy, or accessible, or in my point of view makes sense .. but unless you really were trying to make a point or had some sort of axe to grind, wouldn't that fall under just dislike or indifferent? (my choice).

But then again you are trying to make a point and have an axe to grind so... I foresee you making this a much bigger issue than anyone else.

edit: not to say you can't or shouldn't have that opinion, but just .. I dunno, I think almost anyone here could pick this would be your opinion no matter what the outcome was.

Someone else voted hated it and yet another person voted love it. Everyone has an opinion. Can you see how someone could LOVE it? How is that any different?

The main point is, why does it REALLY matter? Whatever they chose you were ready to hate, whatever they do you're ready to hate, and this is such a non issue in the grand scheme of things!

I see your point about Love/Hate, but hating it just gives the vibe you're putting way too much thought into not liking it, if you hate it, move on. If you Love it, well, it's not the choice i'd choose but I'm sure they at least have moved on to other things rather than making an online poll. I'm sure this is just some sort of weird self gratification, where you'll take solace in anyone who says they hate or dislike it so you know you're not alone.

Of course you're not alone, but once again, this doesn't matter. Although on a side note, what do you think of the name "Society of Friends" that Ed made, you couldn't possibly like or love that? It's only a short step from from "Society of super bestest friends forever!" But I suppose you don't mind that because A). It has to do with Ed. and B). There are no "negative connotations". Actually no, you'll probably make some comment about how that isn't the name of Ed's website so it doesn't matter. Well, this doesn't matter either. Go away.

Yes his website isn't called society of friends. I even posted earlier that Freaks for Live would be passable as a new message board, but not as their offical website. Society of Friends isn't a bad name for a fanclub, it is way better than being referred to as a "Freak".

I guess that's expected from a man who still loves Disney, doesn't mind being part of the "society of friends", doesn't like swear words in his music and is obsessed with Ed. Being a "freak" may just verge a tiny bit past the safe PG rating (although, it really doesnt).

You don't want to be known as "a Freak", only you would end up being hung up about something like this, and it's no surprise that it's something that has nothing to do with music at all. Most of us, like it, don't like it, indifferent, look at it and go "well it is what it is, now lets have some music!".
As I say, this just reeks of self justification, so long as you know you're not the only one feeling a certain way then you'll feel justified and feel OK. It just goes hand in hand about worrying more about what other people think of the music, or how other people perceive the show, you just don't seem to have any love for the music of Live at all, it's all the frills around the edges.
Live seemingly have just nothing to offer you anymore as I've said, you have now stated you don't want to be a "Freak", so why don't you go? Go be in the friendship society somewhere.

Why don't you pick apart everything about EK the same way you do C,C,P? Ed's the one who wrote the song in the first place which gave way to Live fans being referred to as freaks. So Ed is the one responsible for Live fans identifying with freaks. I suppose you don't have a problem with that, only with C,C,P using it going forward.

I don't know all I can think of when I read this is "let your freak flag fly." Maybe I'm the only old one around here that gets it but to me being a "freak" means that you are different than all of the other lame as followers that seem to rule the world these days and it may not be such a bad thing. Either way who the fuck cares what the title of a fucking website is? Seriously?! Is this really all that you have to think about in your life?! Damn!
