Ed Kowalczyk
‎(Ed K.) SO excited to announce that I'll be performing at this year's Q101 Jamboree in Chicago! Legendary station, amazing lineup, come on out!

Not for nothing here, this is impressive. The Q101 jamboree is, generally, very popular artists and bands at the moment. Not sure about the other bands' popularity all over the world, but Seether, Papa Roach and 30 Seconds to Mars are at the at the top of the charts right now. Greek Fire too. For Ed to get in with these guys, is HUGE.

I saw Ed's show last year in Chicago. 100 people there. Maybe 50 actually gave a damn, and knew his songs. There will be 1000's of fans at this thing, which will hear Ed.

Take it for what it's worth, but this is a big, big event.

I'll be there smile.gif ... center stage in the pit. I'll try to post some pics after the show

Wow Ed is getting to play in front of ALL those people? It's too bad that if he plays his new stuff off Alive everyone will leave the area and come back when he's done.

But I have a feeling he's going to stick with his bread and butter stuff from the early Live days...

http://www.examiner.com/concert-photograph...amboree-chicago

-On Saturday, the First Midwest Bank Amphitheater hosted the annual Q101 Jamboree rock festival. The sold out crowd of over 19,000 suffered through the heat and the storms for a full day of entertainment from some of the biggest names in modern rock.

-This was followed by a much more demure set from ex-Live frontman Ed Kowalczyk. His set included a few original songs, but was mostly comprised of Live’s biggest hits. Concert-goers of all ages were screaming and singing along.

Did I call it in my last post or what? Ed is such a poser it's not even funny.

He knows if he plays his new stuff he'll just get BOO'ED off the stage. Am I right or am I right?
