Nick is the ying to everyone else's yang. If everyone was in agreement about everything, and everyone was a cheerleader for TGF and hated Ed, then this place would get realy boring, reallly fast. It wouldn't take long vefore everyone lost interest. Threads would die after 2 posts as everyone agrees that Ed is scum and TGF is great. With all due respect to Zman, I think that part fo the reason why there seems to be more discussion and more traffic here than thegraciousfans.com is because of the controversy and arguments. It's entertaining.

Without ugly, how would we know what beautiful is. Without bad, we wouldn't know what good is. Without Nick, we wouldn't have the brick wall against which we try to bounce rational thoughts, criticism of Ed, and legitimate support for good music. To loosely quote the great Jack Nicholson from a Few Good Men. We want Nick on this board. We need Nick on this board. We use words like "rock", and "Live" and "songwriting". Nick uses them like a punchline at parties. He worships Ed under the very blanket of of a music career that CCP provided Ed, and then questions the manner in which they provided it. Maybe we would prefer that Nick just say thank you and be on his way. But I for one am glad that Nick is such a pain in the a$$. It makes it a lot of fun around here.

Sorry - I don't know why I went into a Few Good Men thing there. I just thought that I need Nick on this board, and that whole thought came floating out.

That's about the nicest thing I've heard about Nick on the board. Definitely one to be put on a tombstone!
A different point of view does keep things interesting, that and a blithering idiot though are 2 Different things.

As For Chookapalooza, I remember that guy... From memory women here used to absolutely love him. I thought at first he must be a real ladies man but I think maybe more cos he seemed like a Eunuch and posed no threat at all. But he seemed nice. Whatever happend to that Mikey guy as well who used to turn up every few months and tell everyone about all the woes of his life (of which there were many)? Hope nothing went too wrong with him
Oh and tabucky! Remeber that guy, he was pretty cool for a kid at the time, likewise with Alex. But I suppose they just did the smart thing and moved on. Wonder if they know of TGF now.
