Ok... so there's a chance that Live could reunite in the future? The way Chad was talking the problems between he and Ed were just that they needed space... so WTH was all the stuff about Ed ripping them off? The court case and all.

I'm very confused now. Did all of that stuff get resolved?

Maybe the court stuff was resolved. CT just stated that he will talk to Ed in July about what they will do with LIVE. Doesn't mean they will get back together. Atleast they are willing to talk to each other about it...its a start.

I'll take it! Nothing compares to Live IMO, so I would love to see them back. Many artists work on multiple projects, so this isn't uncommon. They should have done this a long time ago anyways (CCP working on another band and Ed doing a solo album). Probably would have saved many of the problems that they've had over the past 10 years.

Btw, CT said he was meeting with Ed in July...wouldn't that be 2 years since they announced their 2 year hiatus?

Hate to say it but if these guys re-form as Live just to do a kitschy "legacy tour" then they will have finally lost me as a fan. I hung on through BOP and SFBM hoping for something better, and that something better finally came along when the group split.

That tour would not receive a single penny from me.

Now, if they actually wrote another album TOGETHER, I will give it a shot. But I'm not sure I can let them off the hook after everything that came out in the split, it is disappointing to hear CT say that they just "needed space." That's just a load of bullshit, and either way, it is a more powerful/interesting story if they took the forgiveness angle and acknowledged what happened and how they overcame it.

That's fine, be friends again. Come back together, just to release the amazing catalog of b-sides, alternate versions of songs, and rare recordings. Keep the friendship, but don't get back together as a band. It won't be the same as it was during the golden years from 91-99. It never will be.
