Sounds like quite an ordeal. Who would have thought touring could be so tough? At least all the issues the band encountered didn't affect their performance on stage.

Thanks for posting that. Looking forward to reading the rest.

Touring is a hard, hard business. Whenever a band you like is playing near you, remember that and go see them.

I wish I was a millionare, just so I could give CT and the guys some touring support.

How is it that a band like TGF have to suffer like this and these other bands out there today have fistfulls of cash everywhere they go? Rock music is in a sad state of affairs these days.

I'll tell you why, they sell out to the almighty dollar and along goes their craft and soul too.

Kudos to them for being resourceful. I will say Bill was on edge when I met him. He's a nice guy but was really having a stressful day it seemed. Now I know why. Hats off to him and the band for putting their heads together to make it work.

When I saw him at the Ephrata shows, everyone kept saying how amazing it was that TGF allowed us the access that we currently have. How after shows, they'll come out into the crowds and hang out. Bill kept saying enjoy it while we can, because it will reach the point where it just wouldn't be possible or safe. For the people out there that don't understand what he meant, he was talking about the size of the crowds growing.

Great read - thanks z man. I often wondered how they were making that tour work with so little attendance at each show. All this makes sense now. Kudos to the guys for making it happen. Would have been easy to walk away.
