I dunno, I seem to remember A LOT of you who were bitching quite hastily about CT putting up or shutting up. How we shouldn't be expected to be uber excited about this music the way he was, with only hearing a bit of it. I remember a lot of trashing going on by a lot of you, the same ones who are band wagon leaders as we speak.

Not that we shouldn't have had some doubt, but I think it went a bit far in some cases. CT after all, has never ever done anything that may lead us to think his taste in music sucks.

I just think that after all the years we've all followed Live, that some of these people might have had some faith in the fucking guy. Yet all I heard were pansy ass bitches complaining and doubting.

I had the benefit of hearing this record long before any of you, so I knew it was fucking great. I tried to tell you and I tried not to jump all over the naysayers. I tried to explain how magnificent KM was on lead vocals, but I kinew you'd all have to see for yourself. I knew that this area was more subjective. I see that now anybody who has got to see him perform "live", knows what a fucking beast he is on the mic. His passion, ad libs, screams, angst, aggression, presence and powerful voice are making believers out of everyone. I think he might just be the best I've ever seen.

I'm still in fucking awe of this album...and I think next time CT tells us that we are going to be blasted with wicked fucking rock, we all believe him and have a little respect for the man. I told you all straight off that this album was a fucking masterpiece, and that it is.

Not tooting my own horn my friend, I had no need to convince any of you of anything. To be truthful, I couldn't give a flying fuck what any of you thought. I just thought it was kind of distasteful that so many people were being so pessimistic towards a guy who had done nothing to desrve it. Turns out, he was excited FOR A DAMN GOOD fucking reason wasn't he.

I was also talking about the majority of people here. If you weren't one of them, there really is no need for you to come in here adding your two cents that really are pointless as a result. I know there were a few that were believers and I think that's great. I was just saying that overall, CT is a great fucking guy and there wasn't really any reason to doubt him or piss on his excitedness. He knew the record was great and wanted us all to trust him and start spreading the word, which any of US would have wanted as well if WE were in his position. I heard a lot of pissing on a guy we were all supposed to trust and admire for his musical abilities. All he wanted was for us to believe in him. Kudos to those who did, you included. A big told you so is therefor in order to the many that doubted him and the forthcoming music. Many of "those" who happen to be floored by this music right now, just as CT told us all we would be. Another example of how we can sincerely trust and believe in this man when he tells us something. He might be quick tempered, a bit of a hothead and wear his heart on his sleeve a lot, but he is a genuinely honest and beautiful human being. Tis why I believe 100% that Ed did EXACTLY what they are accusing him of. I have not one ounce of doubt in my mind.

On a sidenote, if I did want to toot my own horn, I'd feel well and free to do so without worrying what people like you would think about it son.

Whatever douche bag. Exit now unless you have something of substance to add to this discussion. Even if I am tooting my own horn, which I very well might be, are you the big hero that needs to try and point it out in order to feel like a somebody??

You're a real somebody pal, see ya. hi.gif

It's just the point of it. You create a thread that says "ATTENTION HATERS: please do read.". I mean it just says "hey look at me, I'm an attention whore!" You should really be bigger than this. We get it, you heard the cd before everyone else, you said it rocked, and it does rock. You were right, congrats. The people that hated, whatever, it's not really that big of a deal. We know it rocks, it freaking rocks, let's celebrate that. Not throw a piss party that someone said it first.

You retarded buddy?? If I felt that way, I would've jumped all over those people at THAT time. Did I? no, I did not.

If you actually read my shit, you'd get something different from it, other than you're misguided, warped perception that I'm looking for attention.

I'm just amazed at the bandwagon jumpers. It's like people who won't support their hockey, baseball or football team. But when that team starts a deep run in the playoffs?? Those people are all of a sudden believers and fans and it makes me wanna laugh and puke at the same time.

I never said anything about hearing the Cd first and pretending to know anything you guys didn't. Like I said, at the time, I would've jumped all over those people if that were my attention you fuckin' lame jackass. It has absolutely nothing to do with who said what first and if you read my post, you'd get something entirely different from it. Rereading it myself, I have no fucking idea wtf you're even running your dick sucker about pal.

I'm simply not impressed by the people who were being kind of ignorant towards CT and his hype for his music. The man, back then, was asking us to believe in him and help him out spreading the word. The pissing came from some people around here who sarcastically claimed they can't be expected to support something they haven't even heard yet. My beef is that we've all been supporting CT for years, yet people wre pissing that he was expecting "too much" from them.

Is that good enough for you now buddy, or do I need to go into a third post for you? Or are you just hell bent on being an immature dickwad and feel like continuing on seeing it the way you want to see it. Even thoguh I've explained in detail twice differently now, you probably just want to carry on like a little kid, who sees things his way only and isn't mature enough to accept a different explanation?

If I'm attention whore for calling some people out, so be it. You've had your say, now quit being like Nick and go post somewhere else if you don't like it.

I dont really understand what this is in aid of doing... Some people had doubts and were sick of waiting, some of those people then got blown away and had all their doubts removed. I don't see what the big deal is. Some people were excited from the start and continue to be now, that's awesome. I dont get making a point over who was right first.
As for doubting CT's taste that's always debatable as is everyones taste. Some of my favorite artists listen to bands I can't stand. The only doubt I had from the start was KM not fitting in after I wasn't exactly blown away by Candlebox. Once I did hear his Hiwatts project I felt a bit better as I liked that a lot more. But I think I was always excited to see what C,C,P were going to unleash after being held back for so long. In the end whether you knew you'd like it earlier or whether you realised it later. It doesn't matter so long as you like it now.

As for CT asking people to spread the word before any music was released. I totally got his hype and ours, the problem with that would be trying to spread the word to people who didn't have the history with Live that we all have. People who don't know CT from their local butcher. That was much harder to do without anything to actually get people to listen to which I think was more to the point what people were complaining about. Or at least makes more sense to.

Actually you spent all summer telling us how you had listened to the cd and how it was going to blow us away. You were right, congrats. Good for you, good FOR you.
