Jan 24 is "Oosterpoort" in Groningen (the location in the venue OOsterpoort is called 'Kleine Zaal', I guess wink.gif). Where did you find the addition 'Westerbuurt'?

So I am really asking here.... are they paying there own way to go over there? I mean usually a record company handles the bill right? So are they actually losing money going there and how do you think the turnout will be over there for the concerts?

I am would think it's their dime. I don't think the money aspect is what's driving them.

Typically the tour is handled by the band and its manager/promoters anyway, the record label may have some say in it but they usually just pay for the album production and distribution. That's why most label bands money comes from their tour and not from the album.

So, in short, this isn't that much different than normal although I imagine if they don't get the promotion in gear that these could be small shows.

Well, Groningen must be the farthest from Amsterdam. Do not remember exactly, but it is around 300 km I feel. Several hours drive.

But.... if I gather the money, I will hit Melkweg.
