Just got back from my weekend getaway to the Little Rock concert. I'm not going to write too much about it other than it probably ranks up there with my favorite concert experiences, right next to my first Live concert.

American Bang was awesome, and they were worth the price of admission alone. The Gracious Few's setlist was similar to what's been posted already, but the show was freaking incredible. Chad T and Sean both had a couple technical difficulties, but they handled it well. At the end Pat must have accidently knocked over a beer by his feet, so one of the stage hands had to help clean it up. After that Kevin told him he was cut off. When it was all said and done, I was exhausted.

Funny note. I saw someone on here recommended to brush up on your lyrics, because Kevin might put the mic in your face. Let me just say, I don't normally pay real close attention to lyrics, especially if I've only had a CD for a month, so I have habit of sort of making up lyrics based on what I think I hear. Well, he did it to me for the bridge part of Honest Man, and I had to kind of do my best to fake it. It was fun, regardless, and I would be curious to hear if a boot comes out, to hear if anyone could tell. Thanks Rock and Roll for you.

So what was your alternate lyrics to Honest Man?

They take my phone
Take my lamp
The power to my light

It's a song about not paying your bills on time.

My memory's a little hazy about what I might have sang, but I do know I messed up this line.

Have we strayed, or have we failed?

I always thought it said...

Have we strayed, or have we faded?

Of course, afterwards, I finally took a look at the lyrics.

I came late and missed American Bang... maybe I shouldn't have?

It looks like you read my thread about the show in Dallas! Kevin will let you sing a line of a song if he feels like it. My god I love the gracious few...

hahahh youre not alone, i always thought the same thing as you did. ive listened to the CD like once a day (sometimes more) since it came out and i still guess on some of the lyrics.

FAAA-ILED? or FAAAY-DEED - sounded better to me.

I didn't get to sing any songs with Kevin... but I was certainly whistling zippity-doo-da out my a$$ for for several days after the concert!

12 more days until October 30th! The only problem is that I will have to miss a Phillies World Series game that night.

Ive been thinking the same thing w/ the Yanks - Oct 28th the Few are playing Columbus and Im going regardless, but it would be game 2 of the WS, if, that is, they make it past Cliff Lee and the Texas Rangers.

Forgot to mention that Sean played lead guitar with American Bang on their song Whisky Walk. It was killer.
