Candlebox formed in late 1991 and Sean joined them in 2006 when they reformed after a 6 yr hiatus to tour in support of their Best Of record.

Interesting to hear that Kevin is/was a Midnight Oil fan. I never realised they were well known outside of Australia. I have to agree - Peter Garrett is an awesome lead singer although he's probably not so popular now that he's a politician.

I know hardly anything about Candlebox but according to their Wikipedia page, the name 'Candlebox' was inspired from a Midnight Oil song.
