His arms waving. That's what I call Dave Gahaning.

Gahan was the first to do that with the audience, around 20 smth years ago. Since then Ed was among those who adapted it.

I think you are implying that Ed copied arm waving from somebody else. I'd say that there are only so many things you can do with your body on stage, I wouldn't really say anybody copied arm waving from anybody else.




Edit: On second thought, if he were doing a crotch grab and thrust I guess I'd say he was ripping off Michael Jackson.
